Cynthia Psaila, M.S., IMF

Cynthia Psaila, M.S., IMF 67316 graduated with highest honors in Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley and with a Master's of Science in Counseling Psychology

from Dominican University of California.  During her last two years of graduate study she counseled students, staff, and faculty at Dominican University on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, sexual abuse, multiculturalism, family conflict, and medical illnesses.  Currently Cynthia is a registered M.F.T. Intern for Dr. Rebecca Bailey's Transition Families Program.  In addition to individual and family psychotherapy, her current projects for the program include a boys group on social skills, animal-assisted empathy building school groups, co-facilitating family reunification and co-parenting services, and when appropriate equine assisted therapy.  Additionally, she has co-authored the J.A.Y.C.
